Our second post from Japan . It took the same place like our last post , Shinjuku . It was really satisfied to strolling in Shinjuku , there are so many things to see, so many things to buy, and it's fun! There are few coffee shop lists that I made. Here's in Shinjuku the Blue Bottle Coffee was an interesting place to visit. The iconic open bar with lining of iconic drip sets was so appealing. The service was fast , great coffee collections, taste good as well. They serve espresso based and manual brew coffee. Both taste great, light and sweet taste that just fit with me. I had my Kenya Kiambu Gathiruini in manual brew, it has an intense fruity like berry flavor and delicate sweet honey after taste. Really glad to had this. I've tried their milk based as well, it taste unique and sweet than usual milk based that I had in Jakarta. The coffee shop growth around West Jakarta already showing its sign. Calibrate Coffee opened a few weeks ago to make you stay caffeinated when in Puri Indah area. They serves pretty interesting selections of coffee when we were there, like Marketlane and Dukes Coffee . A Slayer 2 Groups Espresso Machine is on the bar with double Mythos One for their espresso grinder, tried their one of their espresso blend. The most wanted coffee shop of this month, Toby's Estate Coffee! Finally they just opened for the first time in Indonesia. Joining the coffee shop's hype in the north of Jakarta, Toby's Estate is occupying a place in PIK Avenue lobby. The strategic place with superb vibe and ambiance will make you falling in love when the first time you hit this place. The first thing I noticed about this place was the huge coffee bar setup with 3 beasts espresso machine! They put two Spirit Duette with double groups each back to back, one for the take away counter and another for the dine-in counter. Those coffee bar was very fancy yet so good looking with the Mazzer Major grinder was aside on each espresso machine. If it's not cool enough, they also put one espresso machine which is the very first ever in Indonesia, Mavam Espresso machine (will update for the Mavam pict). As the even started, Mr. Imron J. And yes! Finally Central Jakarta has a new and exclusive specialty coffee shop. The newest was in Grand Indonesia Mal, precisely at Central Department Store first floor called MAARKEZE . Just by looking into their sign board it was powered by Ombe Kofie , one of the most well-known coffee shop in Jakarta. So it basically their third outlet starting from Ombe Kofie , Djule Kofi and last Maarkeze . If you are following their growth, this specialty coffee shop always offers high-end coffee variety with a top class customer service . The previous predecessor was taking in shophouses, but different in Maarkeze . You'll find this coffee shop at the back of Central Dept. Store , with a brick and industrial design, it was the most eye-catchy place inside this dept store and actually it was looks like a Coffee Bar.
