WINTER WEDDING BEACHSIDE

As the days get chillier and the winds grow stronger, we Southern Californians sometimes need a quick reminder how lucky we are year round with such beautiful weather! As the Eastern Coast gets "Whiter", our Californian beaches just seem to get prettier! I couldn't resist sharing one of my favorite weddings of the year because of its intimacy, beauty and all around LOVE that filled the air! On a beautiful day in December, two people in love decided to celebrate this sacred day with their closest family and friends. So close to the holidays, with family in town, they couldn't think of a better time for such a celebration.
Guests were welcomed with cocktails to kick off the festivities with a Hibiscus Sparkle: a delicious mix of wild hibiscus flower, vodka, with a float of pink champagne and a Vanilla Ginger Margarita: silver tequila, domaine de canton and vanilla agave.
LOVE STATION Rustic Bread + Brie en Croute + Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto + Twisted Cheese Straws + Homemade Vegetable Chips of Taro + Smoky Coriander + Plantain + Beet with Dipping Sauces of Parsley Chimichurri + Curried Hummus + Eggplant Caponata + Fava Bean Shallot Caviar
Guests started dinner with a circle prayer that filled the crisp sea air with so much LOVE and HOPE in the New Year!
A Surf and Turf Menu of Lobster and Filet Mignon couldn't have fit the part better with petite holiday sweets to follow!
A gorgeous cake from Vanilla Bake Shop of beachy seashells and a Starfish "Make a Wish" Tree were just the perfect touches for a winter beach wedding! Congrats to our sweet bride and groom! May your New Year be filled with love, happiness and a little extra CA sunshine!

Aku akan mengawali reviewku kali ini dengan sebuah pertanyaan. Siapa yang gak tahu Sunny Side Up?  Yes! Aku rasa semua orang tahu dan aku punya kabar gembira buat kalian yang suka dengan brand ini. Yap yap! Mereka baru aja opening new restaurant di Kota Kasablanka. Well, bukan Sunny Side Up, tapi anak dari group Sunny Side Up, yaitu House Of Omurice . Kalian bisa langsung temuin House of Omurice di area Food Society lantai Upper Ground, terpampang besar dan jelas dekat dengan escalator. Strategis banget kan lokasinya? :D Dan mereka punya ruangan indoor dan outdoor, sebenarnya outdoornya masih di dalam mall, but ya! Lokasinya tidak di dalam outlet. Untuk dekornya sendiri, masih ada unsur-unsur Sunny Side Up dengan perpaduan warna gold dan biru. Yang aku suka, dekorasi House of Omurice ini rapi banget dan menggunakan ruangan dengan sebaik mungkin. Saine Daise Bistro - PIK

Couple of weeks ago we had another wonderful dinner with family and friends. We've been scheduled our visit to Saine Daise Bistro at Pantai Indah Kapuk (Jakarta Utara). Stalking to their IG account we found out there were plenty of eye-catchy dish that we might want to try! So it doesn't took so long for us to order our target. The interior of this bistro was magnificent! Classy yet exclusive atmosphere felt so nice with monochrome - gold tone surround it. The details look incredible and it makes such a pleasing view. Spent a high quality night with great experiences both for food and ambiance! We all start with Honey Glazed Chicken Wing (45k) and  Calamari with Shrimp Paste Mayo Dip (55k) , a simple light bites before satisfying our tummy with main course.
